Eurazeo North America Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Eurazeo SE. Eurazeo North America provides investment advisory services to its parent Eurazeo on potential investments in the United States and has been providing such services since September 2016. Eurazeo North America Inc.is an investment adviser registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as “Investment Advisor”.

In September 2016, Eurazeo opened a New York office in order to directly invest in American companies and establish over the mid term a solid presence in the US, the world’s leading market for private equity. The company is interested on transactions that are of equivalent size to those carried out by Eurazeo Capital (single private equity investments of between USD 200 million and USD 500 million) and sectors in which it boasts expertise, particularly consumer goods and business services. The considerable depth of the US market will enable Eurazeo to promote its specificities, mainly its investment company DNA, long-term investment horizon, family shareholder base and European foothold.

In June 2017, Eurazeo realized its first investment in the United States. Indeed, Eurazeo acquired in partnership with West Street Capital Partners VII, a fund managed by the Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division (“GS MBD”), Trader Interactive, an integrated platform of branded marketplaces and digital marketing solutions for the powersport, RV, commercial truck and equipment industries. Eurazeo’s total investment is $226 million for a 50% equity stake.

Beyond the desire to balance the investments between Europe and the United States in the long run, the aim of this establishment is to strengthen the international ecosystem of Eurazeo and to facilitate the acceleration of the international development of companies of which it is a shareholder.
