Biographies of the jury members
Dimitri Beck — Director of Photography and Editor-in-Chief, Polka (magazine, gallery, factory) since 2008, and lecturer in photojournalism at Sciences Po Paris. Drawing on an international career, including his leadership of the Aina agency in Kabul, he brings his expertise to the transmission of knowledge as a respected juror and mentor.
Elisabeth Bret — Photographer and founder of the Eurazeo Photo Prize, more than 15 years ago. She has been practising photography since the early 2000s, with a sensitive focus on people, travel, and memory. A former editor-in-chief of La Croissanterie, she has also collaborated with the Gustave Roussy photo archive and organized fundraising initiatives to support genomics research.
Jean-François Camp — President of the Eurazeo Photo Prize Jury and a leading figure in photography. A former photographer at the Ministry of the Environment in Tehran and director of the Dupon Bastille laboratory for 34 years, he is also the founder of the DUREV gallery in Paris, where he continues to support artists and curate exhibitions.
Hélène David-Weill — Patron of the arts, who chaired the Société des Amis du Centre Pompidou before heading Les Arts Décoratifs from 1994 to 2013. Awarded the Grand-croix de l’ordre national du Mérite (Grand Cross of the National Order of Merit), she has had a profound impact on the French cultural landscape through her enduring commitment to decorative arts and the preservation of cultural heritage.
Thierry Grillet — Essayist and exhibition curator, a graduate of the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) who formerly headed the cultural affairs department at the Bibliothèque nationale de France (BNF), and the publishing division at the Centre Pompidou. An author specializing in art and photography, he is a regular contributor to the magazine Polka and serves on prestigious juries for photography awards.
William Kadouch-Chassaing — Co-Chief Executive Officer, Eurazeo, with over 30 years’ experience in international finance, including senior roles at Société Générale and J.P. Morgan. A graduate of the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) and a committed patron of the arts, he is an active supporter of opera and classical music.
Aurélie de Lanlay — Deputy Director of the Rencontres de la photographie d’Arles, an institution she has supported for more than ten years in its strategic development and the promotion of its collection of 3,500 photographs. She has implemented an active policy of accessibility and visual literacy, exemplified by the creation of the “Observer/Voir” platform and innovative, inclusive programs.
Anne Lesage — Head of the Image Department at the Centre des monuments nationaux, where she leads the strategy for promoting heritage through photography. An expert in managing photographic commissions, she also trains professionals in using imagery as a driver for cultural outreach and the documentation of historic sites.
Olivier Roller — Photographer and renowned French portrait artist. Since 2009, he has been developing a large-scale photographic project that juxtaposes the faces of contemporary decision-makers—politicians, financiers, intellectuals—with busts of ancient emperors, thereby exploring the permanence and vanity of power throughout the ages. His work also addresses major collective traumas (the Bataclan attack, COVID-19, etc.). Author of eight books, he has held approximately 30 exhibitions.
Coralie Savin —Group Chief Communications Officer, Eurazeo, with 25 years’ experience in both communications agencies and corporate environments, notably in the financial and pharmaceutical sectors (Sanofi, Lazard and BNP Paribas). An expert in influence and corporate communications, she is also active in the fields of cultural heritage, dance, and classical music.
