George Birman is specializes in the branded consumer products and retail sectors, covering food and beverages, beauty and personal care, household care, apparel/retail, pet care, and leisure/hospitality.
Prior to joining Eurazeo, George was an investment professional with VMG Partners in San Francisco, a consumer-focused private equity firm with $1bn of AUM. Prior to VMG, George worked in corporate development and mergers and acquisitions at Heineken NV in New York. He began his career as a consumer and retail sector investment banking analyst with Rothschild.
George holds a BS in International Politics from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and completed a year of exchange at Sciences-Po Paris. He also holds an MBA from the Wharton School and an MA in International Studies from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania.
